I’m a two-time New York Times bestselling author for my stand-alone books Ugly and Mistrust. To date I’ve published over 30 books!
I’m first generation Australian born and live in Sydney with my husband, two daughters and my rescue-dog, Kingston!
I love to write stories to connect my readers to my strong, courageous characters…with some spice sprinkled between the pages.
The characters I write about can pop into my mind anytime and anywhere. From the shower, to washing dishes, playing with my puppy or even in my dreams. My characters can sometimes be intrusive, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.

How it all started…

The Beginning
Picked up a little book called Twilight and immediately remembered why I used to love to read as a teenager.

The Bookholic Life
I was a full fledged bookaholic and would spend countless nights immersed in many fictional worlds.
2013
The Original Idea
I was standing in my kitchen cutting up capsicum (peppers) and had a thought. Wouldn’t it be awesome if the main female character was a total bad-ass? I’d inhale a book about an alpha woman who kicks butt. Hey, while you’re thinking about this book you haven’t read yet, what if she’s a cop and he’s an assassin and she starts to hunt him down, only to find out that he’s the guy she had a one-night stand with a few weeks ago. Oh WAIT!! What if, SHE’S the assassin and he’s the cop?

The First Release
I wrote my first book called Hit 149 about a female assassin and a cop. They have a one-night stand, then she’s paid to kill him.

Finished the Hit Series. And was hit hard with the writing bug.

This was also the year of my first burnout. I had to pull back from the heavy subjects and focus on my mental health, so I changed the trajectory of my career. If I didn’t, I’m not sure I could’ve continued.
